Bio
Leigh Ann actually stumbled across her radio career while in high school. Her Journalism class took a field trip to the local radio station and the program director recognized talent, or was it her beautiful smile, and asked her if she wanted a part time job. Leigh Ann turned him down. Leigh Ann eventually took a job across the street from the radio station at a restaurant where the program director ate on a regular basis and after several more times of prodding her about working part time Leigh Ann eventually accepted a part time job.

Starting her career while in high school as a part time air personality, it was not long before she realized that being a radio personality was her calling in life. So she started to actively pursue positions at larger stations in larger markets. She went from a small market radio station in Nebraska to KSKG in Salina, Kansas. It was not long before she was doing mornings in Salina and Program Director of the station.

She then did what every On-Air Personality does - she set her sights on the top markets in the United States. Sending out airchecks and promotional packages to every major market in America. Leigh Ann landed a job at KEGL in Dallas, TX. Seven years in Texas took her from KEGL to helping KHKS (Kiss FM) launch a new station and format. Within a year her midday show was #1 in the market and she was getting restless.

Next stop Los Angeles. The journey in Los Angeles saw Leigh Ann through nights at the syndicated Westwood One Radio Networks, middays at KIBB (B100), KYSR (Star 98.7) and then five years at KBIG. Leigh Ann quickly moved from afternoons at KBIG to morning co-host on the "Leigh Ann and Charlie in the Morning" show.

After 10 years in Los Angeles and now having two young children it was time to think about family and where the children should grow up. With the majority of Leigh Ann's extended family in Dallas, the decision was easy. A major market in the midwest with excellent school systems, real estate where you can get a lot of house for the money, and family close by - Dallas was it. So this brings Leigh Ann to the next chapter in her life. Once moving back to Dallas Leigh Ann pursued a job at the The New 103.7 LITE FM. And this part of the story is still being written. Listen to Leigh Ann on The New 103.7 LITE FM.
